The Peanut Festival Parade begins at the High School and finishes across the Meherrin River.

Brief interruption of parade. Volunteer Ambulance service rushes conservative husband to local hospital when he found his wife watching not the parade but MSNBC!

No senators or famous actors but you could find some big brass

All aboard to New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore and the Peanut Festival in Emporia?  Not yet but maybe the train will stop again........someday.
